I have been a nurse for 25 years and I have been educating nursing students for 17 of those years. I have been blessed to work with students from a variety of backgrounds. Four years ago, I walked through the doors at Hondros. I thought I knew what to expect despite not having been in nursing education for over 13 years. I knew how to work with students, faculty, and staff, so how different could it be? The difference is in the student, fellow faculty, staff, and administration! The support for students is incredible and the teamwork among faculty and staff is unlike any experience I’ve ever had. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the team at Hondros.
In addition to being a nurse educator, I am also a wife, and mother of 3 daughters, 3 cats, and a goldendoodle! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.
