I truly enjoy working with nursing students. My favorite part of teaching students is when you see the instant that everything clicks with them. They might have been struggling with a particular concept and the moment they understand this, and how it relates to patient care, makes me feel like I have done my job.
I have been teaching nursing students in different capacities for many years, from lab, clinical, and classroom. I enjoy helping them find their passion for nursing and hearing stories regarding their clinical experiences.
It takes a special person to become a nurse. I believe that nursing is a calling, you must have a desire and a passion to become the best nurse you can be. I will always support our students as they strive for success and provide the best nursing care for their patients.
