I used to be a surgeon in England, cutting people open, fixing them up, and all that good stuff. Then COVID happened, and like a lot of folks, I had to switch things up. So I packed my bags, moved to the U.S., and somehow ended up teaching anatomy and physiology at Hondros.
Now, I'm in the classroom, helping students understand the human body because let's be real, we all have one, but most people don't know what's going on inside. At the same time, I run an online functional medicine practice, helping folks get their health together before they end up needing surgery in the first place.
What really makes it all worthwhile, though, is the Akron team. These people are dedicated. They show up, they care, and they make this work feel like more than just a job.
Dr. Jaiden Miskel is a member of the faculty at the Akron campus.
