My passion is education and I love to help students take that first step toward reaching their goals. Often, students come to me that have tried other schools, but have not been successful for one reason or another. I then get to show them how Hondros is different and can help them achieve those goals in as little as a year! Every student that I encounter has a unique story. I love getting to know them on a personal level to find out what is motivating them to move forward with a great career in nursing.
Working in admissions, I am a student’s first impression of Hondros and what we are about. I take pride in treating every student with kindness and respect and doing the right things, the right way. I am here to help them through the admissions process from that initial admissions appointment through transitioning them to working with the academic team.
My favorite part of working in education for the last 14 years is seeing it all come to fruition at graduation. I love witnessing the joy and excitement in our graduates, as well as their families and friends. That is why we do what we do!
Jamie Wright is the Director of Admissions at the Indianapolis campus. In his spare time, he loves spending time at the lake with his family, camping and boating.
