I have always had a passion to help others. When I first became a CNA, I realized how much I enjoyed my job and being able to help others in their time of need. I have been a CNA for almost 3 years and have decided to further my career and education to become a nurse. Becoming a nurse will allow me to further my career and advance my skills all while caring for others.
I was discussing with a friend about how I was looking into nursing school and wanted to find a program that fit my schedule. She told me about Hondros College of Nursing. I looked into the program, and it was a perfect fit for me. It works for my work schedule and allows time for my studies.
If time permits before classes start go through each syllabus and note important dates for exams and labs. Be as organized as possible through each term and really focus on time management. Also, find time to reward yourself for your hard work and dedication.
The behaviors I had to exhibit to reach my goals were to become organized, manage time, and focus. I had to remove myself from certain things, people, and situations and sit things out to focus on my goals. "To achieve significant success, you may need to occasionally sacrifice immediate enjoyment.” I stand by this quote to reach my goals as my goals aren't only to get through nursing school but to get through nursing school with good grades.
