HCN Success Stories

Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a nurse. It brings me pride knowing I can provide care for someone unable to care for themselves. It is important to want to become a nurse for the right reasons. If you have a true passion and a love for this career in your heart, it will all be worth it in the end.

Hondros College of Nursing was the right choice for me to continue my education. I wanted a college that offered a practical nursing program that didn’t take too long to complete and was at an appealing price point.

To reach my goals, I created a routine for myself. At least 4 out of 7 days I would dedicate time to go to the library and study. I also set aside at least 1 day of my week for tutoring. This helped me to discipline myself and not procrastinate.

The advice I would give anyone considering nursing or the healthcare field is to never give up. Nursing school is not meant to be easy, as taking care of patients is not easy. The program is designed to simulate how it is in the real world. To be successful it takes practice, determination, and will.
