Growing up my aunt was an RN. Watching her balance motherhood while working really made me think she was superwoman. I wanted to be just like her, and that’s ultimately what made me want to become a nurse.
I decided to attend Hondros College of Nursing because of the flexibility that the college offered to fit into my schedule. Also, their admissions process was straightforward to follow. This really made my transition back to nursing school the best experience.
To those considering a career in healthcare or nursing, don’t wait and just go for it! Practice cultivating your patience and perseverance, as these were my main behaviors exhibited during my journey in school. This has been the most challenging yet rewarding experience for me.
