HCN Success Stories

I have a passion of doing service for others. A few of my close friends are nurses and have been an inspiration as I entered nursing school and working in the medical field. They’ve been a huge example to me. As a mother of four kids and spouse to my husband, I wanted to be make a difference in their lives. I’ve since felt that I could do more than just being a wife and mother. Finding purpose as a nurse truly made me feel who I am as a person who can embody the characteristics of a nurse that shows compassion, kindness, empathy, and patience.

I decided to attend Hondros College of Nursing because I was inspired by the program it offered. The flexible class schedule was helpful considering I am a busy mom.

To those considering a career in healthcare, be sure to fully make the commitment. It’s hard work and will define who you are as person. To be successful in nursing school, I made a daily calendar and leaned on my support system. I also reached out to my other fellow classmates to get their feedback and insights. Together we completed our ultimate goal of graduating nursing school.
