I decided to pursue nursing as a career because I wanted to help people in the community feel better. I want to pursue working in a pediatric setting as I was in the hospital a significant amount during my childhood. I want to continue seeing my patients smile as they heal and support their parents through the process.
I decided to attend Hondros College of Nursing because there was no waitlist, and I could start immediately without taking prerequisite courses. I also like the program’s timeline as I will be able to graduate and start working that much sooner.
To those considering a career in the healthcare field, believe in yourself and never give up! Be sure to identify your support people who will help to encourage and cheer you on. These bonds are vital to your success regardless of whether it is your family, friends, neighbors, fellow students, or someone else.
