My time here at Hondros College of Nursing has been amazing. I have been in an educational setting for almost 20 years, and when I was asked to consider a move to Hondros, I jumped at the opportunity. The hard work put in by the facility and staff here is something I can only describe as caring. We care for everyone who walks through our doors as a human being, not just a student. Each morning, I know that I am going to help someone get closer to their dream of becoming a nurse.
In Student Services, we get to follow our students from the beginning stages of their admissions process, through all the classes, to watching them walk across the graduation stage and becoming the nurse they dreamed of. Nursing school is tough, but to watch them walk across the stage with smiles on their faces and family members cheering for them makes this job worth it.
The best advice I can give is, “Every journey is different. Don’t let a detour stop you from the destination.” It will all be worth it in the end.
Hobbies – Coaching youth sports and spending time with my family.
