My interest in healthcare was innate. I think I was born to serve others in meaningful ways. I've spent most of my healthcare career working as a certified medical assistant, but also working toward a higher calling in patient care, thus nursing was an obvious choice. Nursing is such a versatile career path and can lead you in many directions. Nurses will always be needed. I knew nursing school would set me on the right path to pursue and attain higher credentials.
I decided to attend Hondros College of Nursing because of how they prepare students for the NCLEX exam. Because, after all, one of our main goals in nursing school is to get licensed. Additionally, I knew I would be able to start as a Direct Entry student. Last, I wanted to receive Hondros’s high-quality instruction.
To those considering nursing, understand that nursing school has a high level of commitment. Additionally, understand that nursing can be stressful, but incredibly rewarding. You should prioritize studying hard, but also balancing life in general. This can be difficult at times. It's important to know that regardless of the stress and obstacles you face in nursing school, the result will open doors to amazing opportunities to touch the lives of humans from all walks of life. It is truly selfless work and prepares you to become thoroughly and honorably involved in the amazing lives of others you serve.
