HCN Success Stories

I’ve always had a caring personality. Caring for people comes naturally to me, and in simple terms, that’s what you do as a nurse. Nursing is full of learning while in school and working in the profession. The knowledge I gain not only helps me care for my patients, but it helps me care for myself and my loved ones at a better quality. I’m grateful to get to do something I’m passionate about as a career while making a difference at the same time.

I obtained my LPN diploma at Hondros College of Nursing. Their practical nursing program worked for me, so I decided to continue my education in nursing with them. I don’t regret my decision. In addition to classes, I work at a skilled nursing and rehab facility providing short and long-term care.

It takes discipline, perseverance, time dedicated, and finally passion to succeed in the healthcare field. Figure out the best way of studying that works for you. I know things can get hectic at times, but the information you need to succeed is available in your textbooks, so be sure to read them.
