HCN Success Stories
After working three years in the ER and eight years in health care management, I noticed a passion within me. I wanted to maximize how I can be helpful on an individualized and clinical level. I have missed working in the ER and am excited to see where this goal takes me.

I currently work two jobs while caring for my 5-year-old daughter. Because of this, I needed a college that could offer scheduling flexibility. With Hondros College of Nursing, I can go to work during the day and attend classes during the evening. This way I can manage my education success while being a parent. Hondros College of Nursing has given me an opportunity to teach my daughter that no matter how difficult a challenge may be, the result will be worth the temporary struggle.

My advice is there will never be a "good time" to sign up. I am a planner and prioritize my family’s needs first. I had to sit back and reflect on what I was doing for myself. I had talked myself out of signing up for school for three years. I woke up one morning, thought about applying, and ended up clearing my day. I applied and completed the interview. This is one of the best decisions I have made.
